Ewwwwww... :hugs: that's all I got mama... I had heartburn so bad durring both of my pregnancies. I even had it durring labor with DS. It was bad. But I don't know of any good remedies. I did eat Tums by the bottle though. Berry flavored was my fav. :hugs: hugs again... I remember your pain! :P

I was having it really bad too but it finally let up at about 38weeks. The best thing I found was to keep a glass of milk (I used soy milk bc I'm vegan) right next to me and just take a sip or two every time I felt the heartburn. It really helped!

Re: Heartburn.Contractions.
Milk will help with mild heartburn, but if you have severe reflux it will just make it worse. My midwife and later my maternal-fetal specialist said it was fine to take Zantac. You need to avoid any fatty foods because they will also make it worse. I don't think I could have survived my pregnancy without Zantac (I got the generic because the name brand is expensive). Also I swore by Rolaids because they have a better texture and taste than Tums.

papaya tablets. get the Natures Sunshine, not the walfart stuff. NS is chewy and yummy, the other brands are hard as a rock and taste like chalk
