All I know is our local Wild Oats stopped selling cloth diapers (Bumkins) and switched to the gDiapers.

I have never used them but I did check one out at a local birth center. The "flushable" part of the diaper is really really rough and scratchy IMO. Part of why I cd is because they are so much softer on her skin.

Also, I have talked to ladies with plumbers as hubbies and they have said NO WAY. These will clog your plumbing lines sooner or later.

I bought some to use as my disposables when not using cloth. They are ok. sort of labor intensive, not that great with leaks. absolutely terrible for overnight. Also, they say that you can compost them etc. but they are filled with this gel - I think it is the same gel in standard disposables. I did not like the gel or the "dust" that seemed to fly in the air when I opened them to flush them in the toilet.

I like my cloth diapers much much better.

I do still like the gdiaper covers and use them with cloth - i stuff them with various inserts and liners and they work great.

The covers and liners are great when you use them with a DSQ Infant prefold. I used them on my newborn and never had the poo diapers "explode" like they do with disposable diapers. I'd still be using them if the velcro didn't make my children's skin raw. They also don't make them big enough for my 25 pound 2 year old. She is average in size and fits a size 4 disposable diaper. I quit using gDiapers mostly because of the velcro that is exposed to their skin.

Now I wish someone would make a cloth diaper that used basically the same design as far as the liner goes.

Anyway, that was my :2cents:

I used to use them all the time. OF course, I just made flannel liners for them instead of the flushable ones. I love the design of them and they have great customer service.

I actually have a couple of the covers up for sale if you're interested (red and orange mediums I believe). I don't use them anymore cause I switched to my own pocket design. :goodvibes:

I bought some for a friend and then borrowed some from her for a weekend trip and I liked them. They worked great for over night as long as I used two. They are still very similar to a sposie, but they breath better and have less chemicals. They do still have the same gel, but I don't think they are bleached anymore. I'd totally use the covers and plan to purchase some in the future if Zoe doesn't potty learn soon ;)
