can beets be put in veggie soup?
 
will that be gross? i usually just do a hodgepodge of leftover veggies in veggie broth....but i have quite a few beets, and was wondering if i could put those in?

Could you just make borscht- add some cabbage, carrots, and potatoes to beef broth along with a little vinegar

i have added beets in veggie soup before and wouldn't do it again. i love beets but they have a distict flavor and took over the whole soup. i eat them alone now...
