Rave for Paca Legs & Wacky Alpacky - we lurrrv our leggins!

Here is a few pictures of the paca legs we got from Wacky Alpacky :) We bought a dark brown pair and a gray pair. These are testers and they are fabulous! The dark brown are knit with a seed stitch and the gray are ribbed. Both are awesome and so soft!

Thank you so much Kaysie! You are so sweet and easy to work with and you just KNOW I will be back for more of these leggins'.

And in case you ladies didn't know, solid color Paca Legs are only $15ppd! Which is RIDICULOUSLY inexpensive for a hand knit item made from soft pettable alpaca!

Also in the pictures is the second dress we bought from Jae, which Jae helped pick out the fabric so it would match my orange/pink handspun yarn :goodvibes: (Jae has a ridiculous amount of fabric so I really appreciated her help!)

The bloomers and shoes I've raved about already :thumbsup: But they are knit by Lisa at Black Tree Knits using my orange/pink handspun and also oatmeal colored DK weight alpaca yarn from Wacky Alpacky. The bloomers are soooo amazingly soft and work perfect for a diaper cover. I've heard that alpaca doesn't have to be lanolized like wool, and I've also heard that you can throw it in the washing machine. I'm not that brave to throw it in the washing machine! However, since we are a wooly family, I do just throw the alpaca bloomers in with my regular wool wash routine with lanolin and it works just fine with the alpaca. So even though alpaca doesn't NEED lanolin, it doesn't seem to hurt it if it gets washed with soap with lanolin. :giggle2:
