It's definitely a valid point. Formula is better than anything else, and I'd hate to think of people giving their babies koolaid or something instead of the nutrition formula provides. Formula is the only option besides breastmilk and women want to not breastfeed, they need a healthy option. I just hate how readily women reach for formula and then insist "It's not rat poison!" ... It's hard to deal with that kind of mentality about it.

I definitely think breastfeeding should be better presented as the best option, the AAP says it should be held to the same level as safe car seat use and back sleeping for a child's safety and health. It's THAT important, but people are so willing to just shrug it off.
