I had a question about sensitivity, if your child is okay with clothes being washed in a certain detergent, why would it not work for diapers, the wetness? is there some interaction?
detergents are most effective at an alkaline pH, water from the tap usually a bit below neutral (7), that's why washing soda's are so often added, and it's usually not a good idea to add vinegar or anything else acidic before your rinse cycle
