What a surprise. After 6+ hours of contractions that were 5-8 minutes apart, they just QUIT. I woke up to a very early alarm, still very pregnant, and really hating that I have to go to clinicals this morning. My scrubs don't fit, I'm now exhausted and sore from all the contracting, and I just want to flipping cry because I have to go stand on my feet for 8 hours, taking care of a man with cellulitis and MRSA who probably can't even wipe his own heiny.

I quit. I'm not meaning to be such a downer, but good God I can't do this anymore.
