OMG! I lived in Nac until June 08 when we moved for my DH to go to grad school. We absolutely love Nac and still have family and friends there. We both did our undergrad at SFA and miss it terribly. I am so surprised to see the area mentioned as I couldn't imagine many other 'progressively' minded folks taking up residence. We have been dreaming of returning but currently, no positions exist there in my DH field (nurse anesthesia). We lament about it daily.

I wish you well in finding some buddies.

I will certainly post here in the TX forum when we nail down where we are going. Never know, maybe Nac will pull through eventually!

Oh, now you've got me craving Clear Springs onion rings and Shelly's shortbread!

Oh, and a walk through the Mast Arboretum and azalea gardens!
