My ped did tell me to limit the amount of side lying nursing we did because of this, but I haven't read any info myself on it. We've not had any problems yet, so I'm hoping things continue to go well. We did everything by the book with our first and he had tons of ear infections until he got tubes (15 months)and had his tonsils and adenoids taken out at 3. I think a lot of it just depends on your LO.
