wow i never even thought about that! my sister and i are only 15 months apart - but we were two grades apart! she started early (we moved and she'd just turned 5 so they let her in kg even though she missed the cut-off), i was average age for my grade. we shared friends through our outside activities (sports and piano) when we got a bit older, but never in school. i don't know that i'd want my kiddos to have that, either! i always thought it was weird for my friends who had a sibling one grade apart, i can't imagine being in the SAME grade!
