With my first DD, the ctx's started right as I was going to bed, around 10:00 or so. I had her 48 hrs later.

Second DD is a little foggier. I honestly don't know when mine began because I had such a gradual evolution from steady BH's (for two+ weeks) to prodromal labor contractions (for 3-ish days), which at some point morphed into active labor contractions. There's no way for me to pinpoint the start of the different stages. The really nice part was that after my long, drawn-out early labor, I was lucky enough to sleep through my entire active labor.
