Murphysmom - I had CA-MRSA while pregnant with DD. I had a septic ankle and went into septic shock. They made sure I decolonized before delivering. They should prescribe mupirocin for your nose and use hibiclense for your body. Everybody who will be handling the newborn for lengths of time will need to decolonize. This was the best information I found.

If you're really worried, you can wipe everything with bleach, but MRSA doesn't live for long on dry, non-porous surfaces. Good luck - I hope all goes well!
