Milk is my biggest cause of heartburn. In fact, my midwife said that most women can't tolerate dairy very well when pregnant, something to do with the way the stomach sits during pregnancy and how it reacts with the stomach acid. If I have any dairy at all I am guaranteed heartburn all night long. I take a calcium/magnesium supplement drink, sip water every few minutes and eat something really bland like rice, toast or crackers and it usually helps.
