It won't be a problem. It will dry pretty quickly in the sun despite the humidity. We never had any mold issues with our clothes. Detergent choices are not good. Don't use the powdered stuff which is what the thais use. There is a liquid brand usa that should be ok. You might be able to find tide at the international groceries but it will cost nearly $20 a bottle.

Enjoy your time in thailand. It is a lovely country to live. Chang mai has become pretty touristy. Get out to chang rai and up to the hill tribe country and you will really get a feel of the culture. Temperatures are a bit milder during the hot and rainy season and very pleasant in the cool season.
