The reason is kind of lengthy:
-We don't use Outlook for our mail service, which for our shipping/stamps service where we print postage from is the only option where it can automatically be emailed to you, so we would have to manaully copy tracking numbers and email them seperately to each customer. It is one of those steps we found slowed us down quite a bit, since we ship same or next business day (you should get a shipping notice to let you know the order is on the way/coupon code/invitation to join our newsletter, etc...) most of our clients get their packages pretty fast so they don't need it to check uip on the status.
However, if you would like it, just type in your order notes "email tracking #", and we will happily email it to you
