Good point about the Thirsties Duo Wrap - I'll get that instead of one more XS diaper cover, since it will tide me over through the XS and S size as well.

I'm not really experienced with flats - wouldn't baby grow out of small flats around 3-6 months of age when he/she is ready to move into medium size diapers? Or do small flats generally last up through 6-9 months? I was thinking that prefolds would offer more flexibility than flats in terms of fitting all sizes. Is this right?
