I would say you don't even need the diff fitteds, etc. For a simple, cost effective stash I'd get 24 small flats and prob 3 each of Thirsties duo size 1 and 2. I think that alone (with the wet bags and wipes) would be all you need. The diapers you were gifted will supplement what you would buy otherwise.
