Re: One in a million is not always a good thing
The dr at U of M does not want to do the meds because she dose not believe they will help. Even though she is not the specialist in this field she is unwilling to follow the protocol set up by Dr. Berenstein.
We found out that we are going to have to be in New York next Tuesday. This is very scary. Ronald McDonald house will not take us before the baby is born. You must have a pediatric patient and technically I am the patient right now. The hospital can set us up in an apt for $100 a night. I have NO IDEA how we are going to pay for it. We also have to find the funds to fly there which is going to be around 600-700 from what I am seeing online. I just don't know what we are going to do. The money just isn't in our account to pay for this. We have set up a fundraiser http://fnd.us/c/1JqIb For those of you who would be willing to share that link and try to help us raise money for this journey it is much appreciated. We are looking into every avenue we can to find help to get our daughter this treatment. It is just such a scary place to be on so many levels its hard to even really take it all in......
