Ok, so I think it is clean. Well, it looks clean, lol. I sprayed a mist of OxyClean over it and had a bucket of clean hot water and and empty bucket to use to wring out the rag I used on the carpet. I wanted to have a bucket of clean non sudsy water to help get all of the suds out. It took forever and forever for it to dry. When it was dry, I vacuumed it and then sprinkled a lot of baking soda all over the carpet and let it sit for a while and then vacuumed it up.
