I only have used my coffee grinder for flax seed (haha) it's a kitchenaid one. I don't know how much it was though. This one (http://www.amazon.com/Proctor-Silex-...coffee+grinder) on amazon has good reviews w/ people saying they use it for flax seed and it is $14.
