We have a chart system (per DS's therapist).
If he does what we ask the first time, he gets a smiley face. 10 smileys=a new hot wheels car. The chart on the fridge has 10 boxes in it, and he likes to count how many he has to go.
For DD1 who is 5, 100 smileys=trip to Monkey Joes (the bounce place).
DS's therapist's main thing is---only target 1 behavior at a time. If you are targeting several behaviors, it looses its effectiveness since the 3-4 year old set is just starting to be able to understand the connection.
