I don't count calories either, drives me nuts! 95% of the time I eat whole foods, no grains. It's fairly close to a paleo diet. I eat as many veggies/meat as I want, with a fruit or two a day. Limited dairy. Lots of eggs, nuts to snack on. Because I'm eating so healthy I don't worry about counting any calories, I just eat whenever I'm hungry and so far it's working good for me. I'm at 10 lbs down total after a month, but I've had a few oops days in there in the beginning. Now that I'm more used to eating this way, if I do eat something unhealthy I feel ter-ri-ble after!
