Ha ha ha! I love this one.

How about rubbermaids of like those little pom-poms. Cheap, and easy to clean up. And it won't attract rodents or bugs. And of course there are sensory balls. I got the kids a huge one at toys r us for really cheap on sale with a coupon. Dress up clothes. Large foam blocks to build with and climb on.
