Our midwife suggested Mirena: less expensive, shorter cycles, good for five years, low dose of topical hormone, can be taken out at any time; or Copper IUD: no hormones, causes heavier bleeding/ cramping at first, more expensive. We're not planning on using either of them and have decided to use condoms. Have to be vigilant about it, though. No loosy-goosy since it only takes one time without it to get preggers!
