We currently have a split rail fence, but I want to replace it with something else that can actually keep other animals out of our yard (dogs are on an invisible fence so our dogs are fine, but others can still get in our yard). I don't want to spend a fortune (no more that $2000, would love to spend less than $1000). We live in a residential neighborhood so I need something that still looks nice. I am attaching a picture of what my friend is doing. I am just not sure if my neighbors would like this type of fence.

No privacy fence, my husband want to be able to see through it.
