I get you too and think it's fine. My BIL's legal name is Josue (ho sway) in spanish but he goes by Josh. Heck I don't even think his parents call him Josue ever lol. Not a big deal at all. My daughter thinks it's cool that she has two names (really just a nickname Gabi for Gabriela) and tends to write her full name on her work but answers to her nickname. I think you're good. I draw the line at two totally different names.
