I was also going to suggest going into the ped and having them draw a rast test. It is the blood test pp is talking about. Even though it is not as accurate it would give you an idea. When ds2 did his rast the beef and pork was the highest. Turns out he has a severe allergy to all red meats. We too had to wait a month to see the allergist but at least the rast let us know what the main allergy was. He also tested reactive to about a hundred other things but ended up not being allergic so please remember it is not completely accurate. ((hugs)) and I hope you get some answers quickly!
