I will share our very simple family recipe, but it uses the giblets which not everyone is cool with lol.
Take the giblets and boil them to get them soft and then save the water. Chop them up and saute them in butter with chopped onion. Pour the giblet and onion mixture over torn up white sandwich bread. Add eggs, garlic powder, and enough of the giblet water to make the bread moist but not soggy. Mix it all up with your hands. Stuff it in the bird or bake in a casserole dish. Very simple, but is very yummy.
