I like little boppers, but she only has fleece right now, no wool. they are really cute though. it looks like you have a lot of choices here, but one other thing I thought of is that you could make some rita's rump pockets out of old sheets or something. it is like the fitted, but with no absorbency, just the diaper shape. you could lay it in and wrap it around, and even without pinning the extra leg elastic will keep your covers cleaner.
