According to Taking Charge of Your Fertility, it should be at least 10 days.

ETA: Progesterone Cream is usually the "fix" the a care provider will suggest (in my experience) but there are herbs/supplements that can help. Many women have luck with B6/Bcomplex to help lengthen it. And everyone can use some B vitamins - helps with energy!
