As far as resorts go, there are many options and price levels. With a total party of 8, your best bet for on-property would be two adjoining rooms at either a value or moderate resort. The family suites only sleep six. There are also lots of rental houses and condos in the Kissimmee/LBV area that could fit your entire party. Downsides to staying off-property are having to pay for parking, no access to the Extra Magic Hours for resort guests and not being able to purchase the dining plan, but sometimes the extra savings makes up for that.
