Oh, and regarding BPA, I agree w/ pp. I think the main concern is when it's heated, OR when used for a long period of time. So, to put it in the freezer for a month or two shouldn't be an issue. I think that freezing anything makes whatever leaching or chemical reaction is going on slow down too.
