My oldest got the flu at three months and was hospitalized for three days. I've gotten the flu shot for all my kids every time because of that.

My mom has a compromised immune system, and has therefor gotten it for over ten years, I think maybe more than 15? Only once has she still gotten the flu because they were wrong about what strain to get. Despite us living with her when DD1 got it, both my mom and I stayed healthy as we had both had the vaccine.

I think it is one you really have to decide if it is worth it. I may or may not stop getting it once all my kids are past the baby stage.
