That's what I use, I brown the butter, add same Amt of flour, maybe a Tspn or two, making sure you're stirring the whole x so it doesn't burn.
When that's all toasty smelling I add milk (the amount of soup u want, so I'd fill the pot 1/2-3/4 full) medium heat, I'd add the bouillon and spices cauliflower and cheese. When cheese is melted and cauliflower is done voila!
Oh I'd add salt, peeper, thyme and nutmeg maybe a dash a cayenne pepper
