Re: 2y2m, talking issues - is this normal?

it cant hurt to call EI. we have Babies Cant Wait in GA. we called a month ago for dd(feeding issues, low muscle tone, etc) we had an appt the next week for "intake"(paperwork, questionairre, etc) last week was supposed to be the eval w/the speecha nd occupational therapists but i had to reschedule so its tomorrow. they come to us so i dont have to drag the kids anywhere or find a sitter.
fwiw ds only said 5 or less words at 2 years. at 2.5 he will repeat almost anything but actual talking is usually done in whines he whines and points. if he wants a yogurt drink he will say "dink". he will say "samich" for sandwich and "afful" for waffle. and milk. and water. thats it for food/drink. he probably says 25-30 words total.
