Re: Cheap Non-Handmade Gifts That Don't Look Cheap

Love this thread!

I only read the first few replies so far but I dislike the Avon bath paint products. Someone gave them to me and I gave them away after we tried them once.

Agree w/ pretty much everyone about the kichen stuff...while we have too many kitchen items at the moment there are a couple of items that we almost never get around to getting but would be super useful. Finally picked up a set of good quality measuring cups & spoons from Kohls w/ a discount and we love them. Also, a good quality peeler. One of the best gifts ever! We lost our first one but found some nice ones at Ikea...they were $4.99 though so not the cheapest.

My extended family would always love food, homemade or not. Nuts, chocolate, treats etc.

Socks! I love socks or when someone gets my LO's socks... I don't always bother buying socks for myself so my pairs are limited. I have a few pairs from family & friends and I LOVE putting them on. Always remind me of the person who gave me the pair too. Fuzzy socks too.
