Both my older two, between 2 and 2.5. Not sure what is typical for rhyming, but my older one at a few weeks after turning two was also telling me the letter everything starts with, and reading simple words phonetically at 2.5. She is definitely not typical when it comes to language skills. At 4.5 she is reading at 2nd grade level. So... maybe your daughter will be too if she has those kind of skills now!
