I don't have any idea about measuring big, but I know that not all subsequent babies are bigger. I've read lots of posts comparing babies and it's not at all the 'norm' for 2nd babies to be bigger (or smaller for that matter). My 2nd happened to be 8oz less than and .25" more than my 1st. OH, and late ultrasounds are NOT reliable for weight. I had an ultrasound at 37 weeks with ds1 because I was suddenly measuring smaller. They said he was huge...body measuring 39 weeks and head measuring 42 weeks. They said to expect him to weigh around 10 lbs at birth (induction at 38w6d). He was 7lb 11.7oz & 19" long. Couldn't be more average!
