Re: To have another or not.....advice please
I was 19 when I had my oldest DS, K, and wasn't ready to be a parent but I love him to death and wouldn't change it for the world. K was a very easy pregnancy, ended up being induced which ended in c-section and we both went home less than 48 hours later. Younger DS, J, was born at 32w1d and spent 31 days in the NICU. Yes, my relationships are different with my children but I can't imagine a world without either one of them. I have said from the time J came home, K taught me how to be a parent, J taught me how to appreciate it. We're mothers. We will always have regrets and feel guilty and not a single mother will ever tell you she did EVERYTHING right by her children. Your heart will grow and if you want another child, I say go for it. Timing is up to you but don't say no. Like another poster said, you will never regret having another child, but you will regret not having one.
