Re: Freezer cooking for a month
I love the idea of OAMC, but working it into the budget is hard. So I've started doubling or tripling our meals and then freezing the leftovers. For example, last week I made chicken tortilla soup in the crockpot. I made a triple batch, so we had enough for that night plus two nights frozen. We are having one of the frozen ones tonight for dinner. I've also tried some of the "dump" recipes, and will make a double batch (one to eat then and one to freeze for later) for those. I get most of my recipes from Pinterest.
