I got this one recently and I have been happy with it. http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach...ef=pd_sbs_k_19 It isn't perfect, you can't really do perpetual broths in it, but it is good for everyday use. It does turn off after about 12-18 hours though so you need to be aware of that if your doing LONG slow cooking. It does make a LOUD noise though when it turns off.
