Sadly, we have had a few broken noses over the years as well as a few near misses. It seems like they have had the breaks when they caught their nose on something while falling. Like a bunkbed ladder or the edge of the dresser. The face plant falls have never cause a fracture(knock on wood). Bleeding as well as lots of swelling and bruising with in a couple hours of injury can be an indication that you should seek treatment.
