I will absolutely be encapsulating my placenta. Well, I won't be do it but will be having it done.
I do placenta encapsulations for a living so it goes without saying that I am a huuuuuge proponent.
I would advise people to only hire someone that comes to your house to do the process. That way you can observe and make sure your specialist is following all OSHA and EPA guidelines for sanitation. In addition, you don't know people's cleanliness level or if there are other placentas being processes at the same time. Blood borne pathogens is no joke, please don't place your health in the hands of someone you barely know.
Also, please, please, please do through research if you want to attempt doing it on your own. You only get one placenta, it needs to be handled properly!!
If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org . I obviously can't be most anyone on here's specialist but I'm always willing to answer questions or offer help. :-)
