But a vet, dr and plumber all have emergency after hour numbers. I think the reason op was called didn't warrant a call to home, but I don't think it was wierd that she saved the contact info, and I agree that it's very possible she didn't know it was a home number and was expecting to leave a voice mail. I also don't think 7:30 is a crazy time to call. She very well could work somewhere she is unable to call during the day. But my dh gets calls regularly as late as 10 and as early as 7, so maybe my view is a little skewed
