Things started off pretty badly with my ILs. FIL died one month after our wedding, and There was just a huge mess that lasted almost two years. Finally things have settled down, rifts mended, etc, and things are much better. DH lives my parents, as do I. My dad tries very hard to make him feel like a part of the family.
