Happy mistake! Pumpkin pie and cheesecake are both custards, so really, as long as the rest of ingredients are correct (primarily the eggs), you can totally interchange the volume of pumpkin and cream cheese. So, instead of cheesecake, you have more of a creamy pumpkin pie. Win!
