I just nursed through a pretty bad flu where I didn't eat for a few days. I made sure to drink plenty of fluids but not too much plain water- pop, juice, and vitalyte (like Gatorade but more natural). When you are not eating much a little salt and sugar is important to allow your body to use the liquid you are consuming and replace what you are losing.
