I had one this past pregnancy. Dopplers don't scare me. When my membranes ruptured at home, the first thing I did was check the heart beat to make sure I didn't have a cord prolapse. But, I'm really big on fetal monitoring in general. I like knowing what's going on up in there and really see value in fetal surveillance.
