How is your child measuring on the WHO growth chart? How is she acting in other ways? Is she meeting milestones? How tall/big is your family?

I have 3 kids. 1 was barely 2%. 1 was 90%. 1 is beyond the growth curve (above). All 3 were fed exactly the same way. I make LOTS of milk. My husband and I are small in stature BUT I do have tall family members. My doctor has never once questioned my children's growth because they continue to follow their curve and meet their milestones.

Even when DD2 didn't gain not one pound between 1 year and 2 years old (and even lost some due to illness), she continued to grow in height and was therefore within normal limits. Trust your mama instincts and don't let your doctor scare you. There are certainly times when supplementation is necessary. That said, you can easily supplement with your own milk.
