Your options are going to be a bit limited compared to what we have in the US, and your prices in general will be higher.
If you live near a store that has a wide variety of seats, your best bet is to go to that store when you have a good amount of time to spend, and try out as many seats as you can - both in the store AND installing ones that you like in your car. Once you've narrowed it down to a couple of options, then bring your child and put her in the seat - that may help you to decide on your favorite.
In general, you want to look for a seat with these characteristics:
*at least a 35# rear facing weight limit
*at least a 50# forward facing weight limit
*top harness height of at least 17" (above the seating surface of the child seat)
